The security industry needs competent, knowledgeable and well-trained guards than ever before.  The demand for guards has surpassed the supply of available guards.  This demand can be attributed to the direct result of catastrophic events such as the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001.  Continued threats to homeland security have put everyone on high alert including government facilities, airports, landmarks, religious organizations, education facilities, and mass transportation.  These agencies will need to be staffed with well-trained, certified guards who understand the business and the risks.

This is where Joseph Security can help!  Joseph Security can help you become a well-trained and certified security guard.

The primary objective of Joseph security is to prepare and certify you. We are deeply committed to and compassionate about the quality of training and knowledge each student receives from our school. Their success is our greatest reward. We make sure every student has the right training, which is critical to performing optimally and with confidence. We care very deeply about who teaches our students. The level of professionalism and expertise that each instructor brings to the classroom is highly considered because we believe the right training produces knowledge which boosts confidence. 

 

Our founder, Mr. Pierre T. Joseph, is of Haitian descent.  He emigrated to the United States at sixteen years old. Mr. Joseph attended Hempstead High School and upon graduating High School, he attended SUNY Old Westbury where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Politics and Law. He then attended Long Island University, C.W. Post where he obtained a Master's in Public Administration. He also completed two years of law school in general legal studies. Finally, Mr. Joseph completed an ABA-Approved Paralegal certificate at LIU Continuing education department.

Apart from his excellent academic achievements, Mr. Joseph possesses well over twenty years of experience in security operations and management, both as a security guard and Supervisor and an acting Public Safety Supervisor. Some of the areas he had worked in include hospital, airport (JFK & LaGuardia), office building, access gate control, crowd control, and loss prevention at retail development stores. 

Mr. Joseph is passionate about teaching.  He believes that, with the right methods, every student is capable of learning anything regardless of how rigid and challenging.
